The app also makes basic calculations to help split expenses. By using Vahivat, you understand that the platform is provided "as-is" and "as available," with no guarantees about its functionality. Features may be updated or removed at any time to improve the service or meet legal requirements.

Vahivat makes it easier to record shared costs and obligations, but please note that all entries on Vahivat are non-binding and meant for informational purposes only. We offer the service "as-is" without any guarantees.

Terms of use

• Informal Expense Records: Vahivat enables users to input expense details freely within groups or among connected accounts. These records represent informal data-sharing and are subject to user-provided information. Vahivat aggregates this data to offer summaries of shared expenses and obligations. You acknowledge that:
  • Entries on Vahivat are informal and are not legally enforceable agreements.
  • The accuracy of information is solely dependent on the users who input it, and Vahivat cannot guarantee the correctness of the data.
• No Guarantees or Warranties: Vahivat is provided on an "as-is" and "as available" basis, and we make no promises regarding the app's uninterrupted operation or flawless functionality. While we strive to offer a reliable service, we do not guarantee that the app will always meet your specific needs or expectations. You agree to use the platform at your own risk, understanding that we cannot be held responsible for any issues or downtime.
• User Responsibilities: By using Vahivat, you agree to provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date information about yourself. The details you share must be complete and correct. You confirm that you have the necessary legal rights and authority to use Vahivat, and you must be of legal age to use the platform and agree to the terms laid out in this agreement.
• Push Notifications for Transactions: Vahivat also uses push notifications to alert you about important activities related to your transactions. This includes notifications when a transaction is added, updated, or removed from your shared expense records. These notifications are designed to keep you informed about your financial interactions on the platform. You can opt out of receiving push notifications, but some notifications related to essential transactions may still be sent to ensure the smooth operation of the platform. Standard data rates may apply for push notifications depending on your device settings and network usage.
• SMS Notifications: Vahivat allows users to receive one-time passwords and account notifications via SMS to their mobile phones. The number of messages you receive may vary. Standard message and data rates may apply.
• Termination of Service: Vahivat has the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time and for any reason, including, but not limited to, violations of these Terms of Service. If you misuse the app, violate its content policies, or engage in any behavior that disrupts the platform’s function, your access may be permanently revoked. We are not obligated to provide any prior notice before taking such action.
• Content Policy: When sharing content on Vahivat, you must follow these rules:
  1. You cannot share anything you don’t have the right to share or that invades someone’s privacy. Sharing personal information to harass, blackmail, or harm others is not allowed.
  2. Do not post false, misleading, or deceptive content. For example, you cannot use a fake profile picture to impersonate someone else in a harmful way.
  3. Avoid sharing content that is obscene, offensive, harmful, or abusive. Nudity is strictly prohibited.
  4. Do not share content that promotes violence or hate toward anyone, especially based on factors like race, religion, nationality, disability, gender, age, or sexual orientation. Threats or hate speech will not be tolerated.
  5. Illegal content is not allowed, including anything related to criminal activities, terrorism, child exploitation, gambling, drugs, weapons, or piracy.
  6. Avoid spam or schemes like pyramid schemes, network marketing, or referral programs.
  7. Lastly, do not post content that, in our opinion, could harm other users or expose Vahivat to legal or financial risks.
• Privacy and Security: Vahivat collects personal information to provide its services, as detailed in the Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you consent to the collection and processing of your data. Your information may be shared if required by law or government request, and the Privacy Policy outlines how we handle your data. We take the protection of your data seriously, but you must review the Privacy Policy regularly to stay informed about how your information is used and protected.

These Terms represent the complete agreement between you and Vahivat regarding the use of the app and related matters. No other agreements, verbal or written, apply.
• Eligibility to Use Vahivat: To use Vahivat, you must meet the eligibility requirements as defined by applicable laws in your jurisdiction. You must be legally capable of entering into agreements and using the service according to the laws of your area. Additionally, you are prohibited from using Vahivat if your account has previously been deactivated for violating these Terms of Service.
